Just a question about a file I downloaded from the ephemeral footage archive at archive.org. It is the first half of the famouns Kennedy-Nixon debate.

movies03.archive.org/3/movies/1960_kennedy-nixon_1
user: anonymous
password: none

it's the biggest mp4 file

Anyway, the audio is sped up so that Kennedy and Nixon sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. I am using the windows quicktime player to view the file. Is there any way to tell if this is a probelm with the encoding, or am I not using the proper playback software?

also, when i play the file in foobar, the sped up audio is still sped up
