I think you should read the post regarding why it has ads on the site... and no HA isn't a subscription site as you can still view the forums just with the ads on the top and side of the site, if your not a subscriber.

I did. I didn't see it in validated news as I do not use the portal. Never have, never will.
Any mod feel free to kill this thread before an avalanche of discontent smothers me...
PS people, when it's the first time you hit the site after it had been implemented it takes you by surprise. Tada, surprise.
