I just wanted to know peoples descriptions of errors in extracted CDA, the only ones I know of are clicks, pops

One crappy no-name drive I've tested recently cuts out ~ 0.3 seconds and replaces it with content arround the position. Very weird.

Muting over longer areas (starting with >500 samples) will be plain silence that might be recognized as a pop if the signal level before the muted area was high ...

Here's an example of a dead CDR ripped in burst mode. You can hear strong clicks over a background of quieter ones, that come once per rotation of the CD.
With a hifi drive, capable of better interpolation, it sounds the same but without the strong clicks.
