Hi,

How can I have EAC to use "Bruce Springsteen" instead of "Springsteen, Bruce" when creating filenames/directories?

In EAC Options -> Filename -> Naming scheme I've tried with both %D and %A.

I'm compressing to flac with " -T "artist=%a" -T "title=%t" -T "album=%g" -T "date=%y" -T "tracknumber=%n" -T "genre=%m" %s" as commandline.

Thanks,

Anders

that depends on what you wrote in the artist field.

If you wrote "Springsteen, Bruce" it will write it that way, write "Bruce Springsteen" and that's what you'll get shifty.gif

I wrote nothing wink.gif Got his name from freedb. And when ripping from foobar2000 I get "Bruce Springsteen" instead of "Springsteen, Bruce"?

The CD info fetch must have just pulled in a "Last, First" artist name. When that happens to me, I manually type "First Last" in the artist field before starting the rip process. Not sure if there's any better way, as I don't think EAC can process text within a specific field.
