I have only been able to use the external compression option of EAC when I enter a command line for my compressor (-q 6 -a "%a" -t "%t" -l "%g" -d "%y" -N "%n" -G "%m" %s), but everyone I talk to says I shouldn't need to enter one.
If I don't enter one I get the error " can't send data to compressor" or somthing like that.
What really gets me though, is that I can't use the same command line that works with EAC, in CDex 1.5, it gives me an error and won't compress my wavs.
Any Help!! Please.
Your command line seems to be missing the main executable of the encoder.
iirc this is a bug in cdex!!!

I am not familliar with command lines and don't know what your saying that I am missing. Could you be more specific? The path to the executable is stated in the External compression options tab right before the command line input box. If that is not what you were refering to please let me know. (Be specific, I am new at this) Thanks!!

Svoltmer,
I've given an answer to your question as to why it doesn't work in EAC on the
OggHelp forum. In the future, it might be a bit more helpful to mention what codec you're using on THIS forum, since people here don't necessarily assume that you're encoding into Ogg Vorbis.
