Hi, This is my first post here. I had a look through the forums and *tried* to search but cant find an answer to this. I am using the latest version of EAC with the lame.exe recommended on these forums. Everything was working ok using the default command line options that EAC uses (I forget what it was)..anyway i decided to try --alt-preset-standard and now when I rip, the lame dos window just flashes up and closes again without doing anything sad.gif I guess it doesnt like the command line?) so all I get are the ripped .wavs. I am entering
CODE

--alt-preset-standard

and nothing else, I'm presuming this is correct, please someone tell me where im going wrong!

The correct switch is --alt-preset standard, no additional "-" before "standard". wink.gif

Hi, I'm having the same problem as kohoutec (using the latest EAC and the reccomended lame), except that I have the setting (correctly) as --alt-preset standard . Does anyone know how to fix this?

Shard, after I typed my reply above I went off to try it and it stll didnt work! I eventually found the solution, try

--alt-preset standard %s %d

that should do the trick smile.gif

Thanks, that works smile.gif . Very relieving since I like using EAC's interface a lot more than CDEX's tongue.gif.

To anyone else having problems, make sure parameter passing scheme is set to "user defined encoder"
