When I bring up my control panel, ver 1.0.2.1, whether I select Headphone or even Digital the highest Sample Rate I can check is 44100 Hz. Will setting this higher improve the quality of sound? And why won't it let me check the other Hz's? I heard that you need XP SP1 to get access to this, which is what I have so that can't be the problem blink.gif Any Clues?

SP1 adds 192KHz support, but 96KHz should work without it... and if you have SP1 anyway.. huh.gif
Do you mean it's greyed out completely, or just that it keeps changing back to 44.1? It seems to function more like an indicator than a selector.. it switches automatically to whatever sampling rate you are playing.
Anyhow, I think the quality for playback would be the same unless you actually have some 96KHz music on your computer.
