I don't know what the ratio of registered women/men is, but there are only a few women that have posted in HA over the past 6 months or so that I've been aware of: "JEN", "Chastity" and "svzurich", but there may be more.

I heard about someone in Australia who went to court and won the right to have an X put down as their gender for their passport. They had two X chromosomes and a Y chromosome or something.
