Hi guys,

Whenever I inset a CD with lost of pictures and video clips, viewing it in thunbnail mode makes it crash explorer in arond 30 seconds. I've tried making a copie of the CD but no luck. I have 512Mb RAM, so that shouldn't be a problem. The only thing I can think of is that thumbs.db was copied with some of the files for the CD and is no longer accurate for the CD directory. Would that make it carsh though?

Ok, I copied the folder from CD to D:\ and it still crashes. It's not the CD then. Anyone have any idea what could be doing this?

How many is 'lots'?

Maybe one of the video clips in the folder is in some kind of unsupported format or corrupt and it causes the crash.

'lots' = 269 + 2 more folders.

Also, I think all the videos are supported ?:-/

I had some corrupt videos on my HDD, which made Explorer crash even by
single-clicking on them.

O/T: Although I have auto-run enable for both my drives, they stopped
auto-running like three days after Windows XP installation...
What the fudge is wrong with auto-run?
