Are there any third party programs for Windows to switch the left and right audio channels? I've been searching for a while and couldn't find anything.

I can't switch the speakers manually due to the location of the power supply.

Any help would be appreciated.

That program is a step in the right direction...doesn't quite go far enough as it only seems to affect DirectShow..

How about two splitters inline?

If you don'tind mangling your speakers it is relatively straightforward to chop the cable and resolder it on with the channels reversed. Be careful not to reverse the polarity while you are at it. Probably easier is to buy a new 1/8 plug, chop the cable and resolder it on with the sides reversed. A quick google search will reveal the right way to do this. Remember that a stereo audio cable has 3 or 4 cores, not 2.

If they are expensive speakers, you might want a less ugly solution, but for cheap ones this technique will work fine.

I also remember seeing a stereo reverser for 1/4 inch plugs in the RS components catalog a while back, I don't know if they have a 1/8 inch one.

If you use Foobar2000 to play your music, you can use the "reverse stereo channels" DSP.

For music it's simple enough....it's more for the gaming side of things.
