Greetings!
I am experiencing some problems with formatting a CD-RW to Mount Rainer.
The system I am using is a Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 4 machine with InCD 4.1.0.0 installed. As device, I am using my LITE-ON LTR-52246S with firmware F.
The problem is that after finishing formatting the disc (which takes about 20 seconds) I cannot eject it. Only after about 5 minutes the tray is unlocked. I see that the drive formats the CD-RW in the background, but a friend of mine who has a Plextor drive can eject the disc at any time and InCD will continue formatting when the disc is inserted again. Anyway, this isn't a great problem. The real problem is that the CD-RW is not accessible. Windows Explorer keeps telling me that the drive is empty and CDSpeed reports a data disc with about 65 minutes. I have tried reformatting several times without any succes. Changing the CD-RW manufacturer from TDK to Verbatim did not solve the problem either. Any idea what is wrong?
Regards,
Sebastian Mares
