Exact Audio Copy V0.9 beta 4
"This version only contains some bugfixes, mainly the CD burning part is fixed, but also many small corrections are taken from the 0.95pb1 that make already progress

Also the lock ups in the wave editor may occur again or may be gone now, please tell about your experiences if you encountered problems before"

UPDATE!
From the dev Andre Wiethoff:
"Please redownload EAC 0.9b4

Sorry about this, but I was reported a problem with writing 0 bytes config file in an actual directory...
I just removed that bug, so please redownload and check that the executable is from 24.5 14:48..."

Thank God the site design was finally improved. I try to spread the word about the virtues of EAC and I had a feeling people weren't taking me very serious when they saw that primitive old EAC site I'd link to.

There seems to have been a bug in the new EAC.

from the EAC mailing list:
Please redownload 0.9b4 if you had already. I just removed one reported
small bug
on creating 0 byte length profile files in the actual directory. The new
executable
should be from the 24.5. 14:48...
Thor
i can't find this fixed build
his download page still says 22/05/2002
and so does the program (see the about box)
Jan S.
the fix was released the same day the first one was.
the time is what you should check not just the date.
Thor
wrong
the date on his download page is 22 may
but : "so please redownload and check that the executable is from 24.5 14:48..." --> 24 may

When using secure mode, i get a track quality of 98+% but never 100% (although I have seen logs traded on etree that say 100%)...

Is there a setting I am missing? Is this something I can change, or is it predetermined by the drive one uses?

Thanks (in advance) for any reponses...
Benjamin Lebsanft
this only means that EAC has read some sectors twice but could correct the error!

Any hope of "vorbis.dll" support?

There were several issues solved in this release also.
I have steady e-mail contact with Andre and he told me that the following issues were fixed:

* forwarding 'non-standard genre' to external encoder.
* larger buffer for very long artist-/album- & tracknames.
* No path included in .CUE files

lets all see if this is in fact the case smile.gif
I got a fixed EAC.EXE from Andre a while ago to test the larger buffer fix, so I know that works.
