In order to control foobar2000 remotely, i need to use the window title. when a song plays, no problem, i use "foobar2000 - title" but when the playback is stopped, the title is set to "foobar2000 v0.7.7a". It's not that annoying because I can change my remote controller config file, but I need to update it with every new version of foobar2000, which means quite often when betas are released. Maybe I've not seen the option which can do that, but if it doesn't exist, would it be possible to add it?
Thanks
WILU
Under preferences - display - default user interface - title formating there is an option to enter main window title.

If you're trying to help, at least read his post properly first.

He already has a working titlebar display script for playback.

His problem with the titlebar is when Foobar2000 is idle.

When that is the case, the titlebar displays "foobar2000 v0.7.xy", where x=integer and y=letter.

His case is that he finds it a needless chore to update his remote's config to detect the version of Foobar2000 as is shown on the titlebar, and he is asking if there is an option to manually set the titlebar's display when idle.

(I hope future posters trying to assist in this problem will find my line-by-line explanation useful tongue.gif)

Well as-far-as-I-know, an option for that does not exist in Foobar2000's preferences, and Foobar2000 has not been updated in a while already. Latest is 0.7.7c .
