[ 00:37:01 ] <Matthew--> actually i'd like a media player that organizes based on my directory structure
[ 00:37:19 ] <_vip> what do you mean ?
[ 00:37:22 ] <Matthew--> well
[ 00:38:39 ] <Matthew--> like i have soundtracks in a seperate folder, and they often have a bunch of different artists, id rather not see the artist in my list since generally i would look for the soundtrack itself first
[ 00:39:13 ] <_vip> well with foobar you can make multiple playlists .. and organize my album
[ 00:39:30 ] <Matthew--> however
[ 00:39:40 ] <_vip> like i have a tab for soundtracks, hiphop, various, game music trance and underground
[ 00:39:44 ] <Matthew--> i have the directorys laid out the way i'd like to see it
[ 00:40:06 ] <Matthew--> so basicially something that would display my directory structure
[ 00:40:14 ] <Matthew--> but not looking like explorer

I'm one of those friends he converted.. and I have a few requests / questions as well

1. I use foo_temple to unqueue songs.. which is great. Would there be a way to have it so when MP3 files [or anything foobar supports] are execute, and are opened up in foobar, it would either enqueue the file, or put it in a specified or new playlist? i didnt look toohard for an option yet. its just annoying to have my current playlist replaced when i download an audio file off the net and open it.

I had another one but I can't recall it at the moment.

Preferences - Core - Enqueue incoming files by default when adding from commandline should be enabled if you want such behaviour.
There is also send to playlist option. Enable it and write playlist name you want to send your files.
