Hello dear HA-people,

I love FLAC and it is really a great encoder for music in great quality, but: I have a little problem with the Winamp-input-plugin:
Is it possible, that the winamp-plugin sends the complete-tag information to winamp and not only this title-tag-string?? I donīt want to write ID3 (there it works), because imho this should not be needed :-)

I need the complete tag-informations (Artist, Title, CD-Name, etc.) for my jukebox :-|

cheers and thx a lot

Not sure I understand the question, but

- Go into Options, Preferences, Plugins, Input, click on the flac plugin and then Configure. You can change the display format.

- If you right-click on a flac in WinAmp, choose File Info, you can see and edit the tag.

So obviously the tag is getting passed to WinAmp.

I mean something else:

I have a jukebox-software, which somehow takes the tag-informations from MPC or MP3-files out of winamp and copies it to the LCD-Display....

with Flac I can only see the [title]-String I define in the plugin-preferences... what I would like to have: Flac somehow has to fill the [title], [cd], [artist]-variables in winamp, like all the other plugins do (tested with mpc, ape and mp3 so far).

I am sure, that it is only one little enhancement of five lines of code in the plugin.

cheers
