Hi folks,

i got a WAV file with play time of 4 hours and 30 minutes (~2.01 GB).

foobar recognizes however only 3 hours and 22 minutes 53 seconds - happened also with pieces still longer, everything cut off after 3 hours and 22 minutes.
But only as WAV-File.

If I convert the piece in Samplitude as OGG-file (420 MB), the correct length is indicated and given.

So, do I have to change an attitude, or is this a bug?

i'am using v8.0 beta4

ps. I had this problem also with OggDropXPd, if I try to convert a wav file longer then 3 hours 30 minutes.

What file system are you using? IIRC at least FAT can't deal with files bigger than 2GB so that might be the problem.

Hi,

i tested straight something:
I stored a stereo WAV-file with a length of 3 hours 56 minutes as mono file.

This mono WAV file is indicated now with the correct length (1,22 GB).
I assume it have something to do with the size of the file and not with its length!?
Because also the converted OGG file (420 MB) is correctly played.
