I have seen the possibilites. Foobar2000, dbPowerAmp. I don't want to use Nero because it loses tags. I am transcoding to low bitrate HE for computer listening. Do not have or plan to have any portable device.What is best solution for you guys?

Foobar2000 with the foo_nero plgin added to the components folder has been working great for me. I transcode from flac and monkey's adio lossless with this plugin.
Good tagging support too.

Same for me. Lossless => mp4 (nero, faac - and average behaviour with QuickTime AAC) is working fine with foobar2000 and all tags are perfectly reported.
