hello

i d like to cut 400+ audiotracks to 30 sec clips and convert them to mp3. the conversion i do nprmally with eac and lame but i dont know how to cut either the waves or the mp3 files to 30sec. any hints? thnx in advance

It won't be secure ripping, but Musicmatch can do 30 second samples from each track directly to mp3 in one click.

The catalog function will do that for you, IIRC. By default, EAC will copy 45 seconds, but you can adjust those settings.

thanks but where can i adjust those settings to 30 sec. i have the german version and can't find it :(.

if your audio tracks are already in wav you can use SoX.

While the EAC main window is focused, press F9. You should see a tab called "Katalog" (or whatever it is called in German). There you will find 4 text fields.
