Hi,,
I don't know if fb2k can do this already, but it would be great if it could losslessy cut a file by CUE file.
Seeing as fb2k is already so great with cue files, I know this is probably possible using the converter, but I don't want to re-encode.
If foobar2000 can't do it, whats my best bet for doing this, without having messed up MP3-headers in the resulting files?
Thanks.

No, AFAIK, it cannot cut MP3 files by cue sheet.
This program can.
It involves no transcoding/re-coding.
And it's free.
Oh, and it is also very well known on this forum, so maybe a search would have lead you there (hint: search function is your friend)

if thats the case, then foobar can do that too... just need to play with the convert settings.
I think I asked for this feature some time ago. This feature would truly be something !!!

If can also recommend the freeware mp3splt. It can even automatic cut mp3 if you lost the cue. For this it will check at freedb or look for gaps in the mp3.

From this thread:QUOTE(ZzZzZzZ)
Generic foobar2000 audio cutter/transcoder component could do that.
Too bad I don't feel like making it.
Well, meybe someday
