need help. EAC doesnt recognize my Sony CRX1600L firewire drive. EAC just hangs. have not tried CDex yet. But other apps like winamp, windows media player etc recognize the drive fine.

i have gone theu all the aspi b... s... including forceaspi etc. my pcmcia based dvd-rom works fine.

i am running win XP Pro on a Vaio SR17 notebook computer.

EAC is known not to support as many drives as you could hope for.
Does it not find the drive does it hang during extracting?

Anyway....your drive might not be supported by EAC.
There's a list of supported drive (I think) on the EAC website.
Check if your drive should be supported.


If it isn't you should get a new drive or use CDex.
