Hello!

Not long ago I asked if there any command-line utility MPEG-4 AAC encoding.
I didn't find anything but FAAC/PsyTEL/Compaact!
So, here my "compressor" for you:

Aracode :-) MPEG-4 AAC command line frontend/encoder. This is a command line MPEG-4 AAC (.MP4 / .M4A) compressor based on Nencode (frontend for NERO AAC DLL's) and richard123's AAC tagger. Features:
* compression from command line
* files tagging
(Nero DLL's not included)

Hope to see here your opinions.

You are going to get some Flak (not FLAC wink.gif ) for including Nero's Dlls.

Got a bug in the .bat file I think. It says when run without any options:

'richard123's' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

guest0101,
you're right. Sorry, fixed.

does Aracode support the automatic resampling (which is needed for many settings with the nero encoder) which nencode lacks afaik?

bond,
sorry, not. "Aracode" is just a .BAT-file with several profiles, which makes encoding with nencode + tagging comfortable and adds the ability to encode from command line (without any prompts)

I've fixed the utility. Now it also uses MP4creator.
You're welcome to download the new version.
