What are some good tools for cutting and pasting individual music files? I'm thinking of creating a remix of all songs that have to do with waking up, ie sgt. pepper's a day in the life flowing into the beastie boy's flowing into revolver...

Could you please specify "individual music files"....? What format etc. And what are youre actual intensions and needs...? Would a program like mp3DirectCut http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/ satisfy youre needs, or do you need a fullblown wave editor like Cool Edit, Sound Forge, Wave Lab etc. etc....? Or a DJ Tool like Traktor http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?traktor2_us (or a 100 others I guess)...?
