I'd suggest you to download the latest version of software before reporting problems... Usually known bugs have been fixed on the latest build...

Please upgrade to the latest release version, which is 0.7.7b.

If you continue experiencing problems, make sure that you provide more information about the crash (what you were doing when it happened, does it happen with some specific files only, can you reproduce it it on a clean installation of foobar2000, etcetera).

I would also recommend switching to windows 2000/xp and a unicode version of foobar2000, unless you have a really good reason to stick with win9x.
