Please remove any third party components before posting "bug reports". Or post list of components you run and full system specs if you insist on this issue really being a foobar2000 bug.

But older versions works fine!

What we have here is a failure to communicate. I do not see your system specifications, or a list of installed components.

If you feel like saving us a lot of time, please diagnose the problem yourself by locating the problem component. Obviously, it is one of the DSP components. You can start by following these simple steps:

1) Close Foobar2000.
2) Move one DSP component from the components folder to somewhere outside of the Foobar2000 folder.
3) Restart the player.
4) Check the DSP page.
5) Lather, rinse, repeat.

I noticed a similar problem here (~0.5-1 seconds playback interruption when entering DSP settings page). A new installation (0.8beta7 special install, full (all components)) showed no problems. The guilty here is foo_dsp_hrtf.dll - since I want to use it, I've set playback buffer to 2000ms - no more (audible) problems.

So try what kode54 suggested or do it the other way round - do a fresh reinstall to an new directory and add additional components until the problem reappears...

Ok. When sound interrupting, there is a lot of CPU load, espetially 100% and memory usage is very huge, about 250mb of psysical and 300mb of virtual.
