I searched the forum and help for that problem, but can't find what I was looking for.
Is there really no option, plugin to just play the next item in Playlist if the current file is not existing?

Imaging someone who uses a Notebook and an extern Harddisk with songs.
When he changes his location, some of his items in playlist are not available, but Foobar2000 is not jumping over them, instead it popups the consol, though I said it, to to popup or sound an error.

Can anybody help me?
Writing a plugin for that is not working, I think. But correct me.

If I understood you correctly you are looking for foobar2000->preferences->core->"stop playing on file open errors" unchecked, sorry if i got this question wrong too...

@DotNoir:
Just quite like that. I didn't see this option. Thanks a lot
But couldn't it be done a bit more nice, like:

1) Don't let the seekcontrol runs through the seekbar
2) Not showing : "Silence", but showing: "FILE NOT FOUND"
3) When a existing song is played, the color changed on that song. But when foobar runs through a list of not found songs, the color stays at the last played song until a new existing song is found.

@2) + 1) I know, this comes because of the "silence://1", but can't this be customized, like: "silence://0" or "silence://1:"FILE NOT FOUND"

P.s.: Are there other cool file locations like silence:// ?
