Is there a problem using replygain with my HE AAC files, beside the fact only foobar support replygain for mp4 for now ? Someone tell me that using replyagiin with mp3pro was a disaster, so it's the same for HE AAC ?

Although mp3pro didnt work with mp3gain, it still works with a player supporting replaygain. The same is true for AAC in any case, but there's no AACGain yet.
Afaik something similar to replaygain is in the AAC standard, but I've not seen much about it yet.

It is called 'DRC' or Dynamic Range Compression - same thing is used in AC-3.

apple seems to use some own postgain implementation (via tag basis in mp4 i think)
there also is a volume element in the mp4 container, but nobody really seems to know how to use it

The MP4 format specification specifically locks the volume value at 1.0, e.g. it is not usable and only there for backwards compatibility.
