In Preferences "Main menu items":
- In group "Playlist" subgroup "Sort..." is listed twice, the second time under subgroup "Selection" though this group doens't get displayed in the foobar menu itself.
- Group "System" doens't get displayed in the foobar menu at all.
- Del button doesn't work to remove an item (just an extra feature).
- Under the "Core" section imo both item listings should be the first two submenu's, because of being of the same type of settings, followed by the shortcuts.
Because "Show file info" option changed name to "Properties...":
- Right click file "Properties..." displays window with "File info" as title
- Manually created shortcut is still assigned to "Show file info" in "Assigned shortcuts" section. Using the same shortcut does function for the "Porperties..." option. Also because of this the assigned shortcut doesn't get displayed in the right click menu. Reassigning fixes this np.
- Preferences menu item section can be made a bit less wide, maybe based on the total length of all items? My flat mate is using foobar at 800x600, every bit helps
Throughout the preferences not all options in different section aren't vertically or horizontally aligned correctly. This make it all look a bit messy, asspecially when being on a dense option section.
E.g. the "Core" section. The top options under "Adding new files" with the dropdowns. The text aligment differs and the dropdowns could be made equal with, again aligned.
In the "Display" section there's a lot of empty space underneath the first block of settings. Underneath the second block the button and check box are being indented again compared to the check box above the button.
Bottons completly differ in size every time again, etc. (Let me know if you want a complete list of suggestions concerning consistent aligment)
No sure this is a 3 party plugin or official foobar component:
- Vorbis encoder only has a slide in the preferences to select the quality. An input field would be handy to quickly enter the quaity.
