I know that it's supposed to work with my M-Audio Revolution 7.1, but for some reason it doesn't. There aren't really any kernel streaming options so i'm confused as to what i'm doing wrong. It's giving me this error:

CODE
INFO (CORE) : opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : location: "file://C:\My Music\Offwhyte\The Fifth Sun\Track03 - Beta Alpha sec.mp3" (0)
ERROR (foo_out_ks) : KS output error: error opening device.

sorry if this is a noob question, but i just switched from winamp to foobar with foo_tunes and would like my ASIO support back smile.gif. TIA.

edit: nevermind, i randomly figured it out...wtf i'm retarded ignore this post.

just for people that might have this problem in the future, under playback in preferences you have to set output to 32-bit fixed point.

I am having this problem as well. I have set the output to 32-bit fixed point, but I still get this error.
Anyone know what's wrong? sad.gif

Is anything else using the device? Are you trying to play an unsupported sample rate?

I think some SoundMax application from my onboard sound previously was the problem. I ended it via the Windows Task Manager and now kernel streaming works. rolleyes.gif
