This is rather amusing item. A couple days ago as I was sitting in computer lab, I've heard two girls behind me talking how they were going to get new apple mini iPod because it's *soo cool*. 'Just look at all these colors!'. The following day, in the same lab I saw another girl, staring at the iPod web page, with new iPod, apparently mesmerized with all of these cute colors.
Today I saw the news that 'new mini-iPod is selling out fast.
Seems like Apple does know something about non-technical factors in making the decision which portable to get.
Good old-fashioned Marketing 101. I'm sure there's something you bought where you were the sucker. We all do it. It's just that those of us who linger on sites like this know more about these gadgets than the average 16-year old girl.......or do we? I'm sure Apple could give a crap about those of us who do research. I would say 90% of the population does not.
BTW....cool nickname. Where the heck have you been? Silly pig....

This should be an acceptable defense: "Your honor, he was a pussy. Any normal guy could defend himself against an iPod"

Some thoughts on the iPod attack:
1. Forget iTunes... Aggravated assault will be the iPod's true killer app. That thing's small, but *dense*. Ooh, and those edges--rounded enough to be stylish, yet sharp enough to inflict blunt trauma with minimal effort. And don't even get me started on that strong earphone cord--I can just imagine that lady from the 1984 Superbowl Mac commercial swinging off an iPod instead. We'll be hearing of "drive-by smackings" in no time.
2. Apple could take their next iPod + iTunes commercial in a whole new direction... Plenty of high energy metal songs out there unleashing rage by the screamful to choose from, plus a golden opportunity to release their sleek new gunmetal gray and black iPods on a high note.
3. It's only a matter of time before that iPod is up for sale on eBay.

Not sure who's being serious here and who's not, but you do realize that story is fake, right? If the rumormill path wasn't enough of a hint, check out the page that links to the story:
