MP3 and Ogg Vorbis are listen as the 2 formats supported by Nomad 3.

I haven't seen this mentioned before, anyone know whether it's true?
Benjamin Lebsanft
I know form the mailing lists that it does NOT support it!

Hm, weird then that it lists it as an official format.

Unless the guys at CNET mucked things up and mixed up Ogg with WMA...
Benjamin Lebsanft
yeah may be possible. Take a look at the official specs! mp3 and wma. But as creative replied "they are willing to support public domain and royality formats in the future". So lets hope for the best!

I still check RIo's firmware page every day for my RioVolt hoping they will finally post a new update that allows either Ogg or MPC.

Until then I have to stick 100% with MP3...
