Are there any qualitative differences between using the LAME .dll versus the .exe to encode mp3's? I'm using LAME 3.90.3 as recommended on these forums. I'm also using EAC as my rip/encode front-end. Thanks.

You can't access all presets if you use the dll, and thereby you will not get the best possible results. Use the exe with EAC, and have a look in the recommended settings thread for what presets to use.
