please consider allowing user to switch default visualisation resolution to higher level. What for?
Stretch visualisation window (I strech it to maximum of my desk - ~1000 pixels). You will see blocks (rectangles) instead of lines. It looks worse...

maybe this is dependant on your monitor refresh rate?
the difference between 60 and 85 (which is my monitor's refresh rate) is subtle, but noticable.
You could always do your own FFT instead of relying on foobar to provide the resolution you expect/need..

I have 85 and don`t see difference between 60 and 85 :|
I suggest allowing resolution: 256, 512, 1024
