I want to buy a (cheap???) portable ogg hd player and don't know which one to choose. I've read certain topics about Karma/etc which all have the problem of battery life on playing ogg files. I wouldn't worry about that too much if I would know if i could connect the player to my car (12V AC) in order to play/charge. I would prefer a small one which could be taken out for a walk like a walkman (especially in doing sports, i would really appreciate to have my favourite music with me). In favour of which one would you guys decide?

Battery life concerning the Karma and VORBIS files is nothing to write home about. You lose about 2-3 hours in my testing. This puts the total battery life at around 11-12 hours while using vorbis. I use my Karma in my car every day and I can have it last around 3-4 days between charges. Currently there are no official car adapters for the Karma.

Have one on order (IHP-120). I might post a short review sometime next week.
