Full Version: File not found error

I'm using EAC to rip the wav files and encode them using mppenc.exe (version 1.04). It rips the wav fine then launches mppenc and it closes immediately. I tried using the frontend on the wavs, but i get a 'File not found' error (I have set all the file locations correctly).

I don't understand what's gone wrong as it was working fine yesterday (both launched by EAC, and using the frontend).

Any ideas, I'm sure this is something really stupid, but I can't figure it out.

It would help if you posted your command line.

First thing that comes to my mind is: don't add quotation marks around %s and %d. EAC will do that for you. This is an error I made myself very recently.

My command line in EAC is just --standard

Should the file name be in there or is it added by EAC? Should there be one or two dashes before standard?

Since --standard is the default it is not needed in the command line. Just use "external encoder" and command line "%s %d". If this won't work I have no idea...

Did you set the file extension in EAC to mpc?

I was scratching my head for days over this a while back,my problem was not including "%s %d" into the command line.(minus the " obviously)
