Hi,

I've got some issues with winLame.

Which version of Lame does it use, if I make new install?
If I replace some dlls by ones downloaded from rarewares.org, does it use Lame 3.90.3? I suppose so, but ask for sure...

=> winLame should display (in about dialog?) versions of used dlls and Lame.
Is it possible to include Lame 3.90.3 (or more versions) into winLame installer and give the user opportunity to choose?

If I choose "after encoding winLame do: Shutdown", it shuts down Windows but not power off. (Win2K SP4 tryed on my Desktop and Laptop)

New install of winLame on fresh Win2k installation asks for MSVCP60.dll. Could it be included in installer, or - if violate some copyrights - could it offer links to download? I've found out, that some software installation puts that dll to System32, so it has solved my problem.

Lastly: Thank You for winLame, I prefer GUI than commandline.

If you d/l the nLAME.dll 3.90.3 from Rarewares it does. wink.gif

All your other question would need to be addressed by the author, Michael Fink, but I believe he has ceased development.

WinLame rc3 installs as Lame 3.92.

You can't just add .dll's to WinLame and get a choice of encoders. You have to use his compiled version. I believe there is also a 3.93.1 .dll available at RareWares for WinLame.

Does Michael Fink come to this forum? Or where can I found him...
Or should I give up GUI and discover "magic" of command line ? biggrin.gif

winLAME homepage is at: http://winlame.sourceforge.net/ and, yes, he does visit here sometimes under the name Vividos.

Yes, I know. I mean Jon33's compile of nLame.dll on Lame 3.90.3 code and related dlls.
Thank you.
