Full Version: Foobar2000 + "other" ID3 tagging

Hey all,

I ripped my CD collection with EAC to wav/cue (then changed it to ape/cue, since foobar2000 treats them both the same in a conversion). My question has to do with the tagging process.

When one uses foobar2000 to convert an EAC wav/cue with LAME, it tags the artist, title, track number, etc., but I was wondering if there's any quick way ensure it also tags the other meta-data, such as year, genre, and so forth. You could always use the mass tagger, but that's less than convenient, and downright awful for batch encodes.

Thanks!

Worth noting...
I set fb2k to batch encode writing ID3v2 tags to all the mp3s with the ID3v2 component (foo_id3v2.dll)... then I started going to each set, adding the other meta data, such as date, year, etc., with the masstagger. Upon uploading it to my mp3 player, I realized the mastagger removes ID3v2 and writes tags as ID3v1 only. Now all the ID3v2 tags are missing! AGH!

Any ideas?

Check standard inputs settings.

Yeah, I got that a few minutes after I posted. Not the first place I thought to look for such a setting... ;)

Thanks!
