I enqueued about 7GB of MP3's and mass converted all files apev2 tags to id3v2 tags. Unfortunately foobar crashed and quit. I got enough diskspace. before the crash windows said it needed to enlarge its swapfile numerous times.

he wanted to make foobar rewrite the filetags, so they would be rewritten in id3v2. however, we couldn't remember the option how to tell foobar to do this, so we just enqueued all the files, opened fileinfobox(special) multiple items, added a tag "x" with the value "x" and updated the files - afterwards, we would just remove this bogus-tag again.

It may very well be that this is a problem with fileinfobox special and wasn't noticed before, because under normal circumstances, probably no one would use fileinfobox(special) to tag that many files at once.
