Full Version: Sugestion for Open/Add Files...

Since Foobar2000 0.7 when you open/add some files from directory all of them are added to playlist (including jpg if you have covers or md5/sfv etc.)

You can say that that you shoudn't select that files or should use add directory but it would be like "F**k off!" answer! wink.gif

Here is my sugestion... After opening/adding files to playlist there should be automaticly used "Playlist -> Remove dead entries" function. Just adding execution of it should clean playlist from non-audio files. The function is already implemented, so it wouldn't be to much work. unsure.gif

PS. It's annoying when you have some !blahblah.jpg, and then some audio 'cause when you add all with ctrl + a and Open, then you see console with error. dry.gif

"Preferences/Core/Restrict incoming files to:" should do what you want.
Just put the extensions of your audio files in the box and all the other files won't be added.

Not working... I just put *.mp3 and opened .mpc files (and .md5) from directory. crying.gif

Oh! I should have tested it, before posting.

But now i found out that it doesn't work if you drag files into foobar or if you use "Playlist/Add files...", but with "Playlist/Add directory..." it works.
