AN ANALOGY about how people beleive they got the truth into scientifical experiences vs what i was saying, ie you can beleive in your results but never be perfectly sure of them (in christian world, you can beleive into life after death but never be sure of that = faith (i know i know we can discuss that too but that's not the point)).

Well, even as analogy, I think it was somewhat badly chosen. Devoutly religious people are often more sure of their beliefs than any scientifically-minded person can ever be of their own. Ask the suicide bombers about how sure they are that they will be greeted by pretty virgins in heaven.
