Pardon my ignorance, Kode54, but I noticed you have a new DXi midi foobar component on your webpage. Mind helping us out on how to use it? Thanks.

Edit, hmmm, didnt see that "show descriptions" link till just now.

I guess all I can ask is if there are any freeware plugins or plans to support any non-sound canvas DXi's.

As far as I know, there are no freeware GM instruments. Maybe you could encourage the TiMidity++ dev(s) to develop a DXi frontend to the core synthesizer...
