Hello all maybe someone can help me wink.gif am using cool edit pro i put the intrumental and my voice on the multitrack, now i want to mix the both so i can make a mp3 with my voice and the intrumental any idea how lol, am new at this tongue.gif
seannyb
go to file -> save mixdown
- or -
right click on an empty track and there should be an option like "bounce mixdown to track".

you can set your mixdown options (like bit depth, dithering) in the preferences screen if you need to. Take your mixdown, do whatever mastering you need to do, save it, and encode the WAV with LAME 3.9x (or whatever version is current/recommended now). Or if you want to ghetto it, I think Cool Edit can save to MP3 (file -> save as) out of the box, or at least Adobe Audition can

There is a 3rd party LAME encoder plug-in for CoolEdit out there somewhere. I suggest googling it.

Found it on Rarewares: http://www.rarewares.org/files/mp3/cool_lame.zip

nice! lame 3.90.3

i just wish there was an ACM codec that supported --alt-preset standard like this plug does.
