I coded two guis.

One for MEncoder:

DRPEnc - GUI for MEncoder (7.52 MB)

and one for FFMPEG:

DRPEncXP - GUI for FFMPEG (1.52 MB)

Both have one of the newest CVS inside which I compiled by my self.

The GUI for Mencoder is the first I coded in my life. With this GUI I learned Delphi.
DRPEncXP is in a higher standard. Also FFMPEG is easier to compile.

I hope the GUIs are usefull for You guys.

i would toy with your stuff if you broke it into smaller chunks:i already have mencoder win32 build and would only require very small(if possible) gui....what have you packed in there,complete mplayer?
(the 7,5mb dload is stopping me from trying your stuff....and....it's hard to include all those switches to gui...hehe)

bilu tells me that he has issues on telecined and (probably) field blended ntsc interlaced(pull down) material with mencoder mpeg2 with b-frames on....do you know what's he babbling about?
my pal stuff is perfectly ok...(although i didn't tried blended stuff yet..)

p.s. it is working if i install it to something like c:\test, so i guess thats some paths issue.

edit: btw, any recommended ffmpeg command lines for
2pass pal dvd-type of encoding?

get mencoder docs,and toy with my settings...(...btw. ffmpeg is not mencoder),offcourse,remove interlacing support if you don't need it...
you can also try real simple settings to see if it satisfies you....

but i still can't get this file....

by now,you should be familiar with my 5mbit/s and 2mbit/s(interlaced) mpeg2 tests....

@5mbit=matched video quality(mencoder slightly faster)
@2mbit laced=mencoder much better(AND faster).....

i'll use mencoder to encode best moto-races i pickup this moto-gp season...(to laced mpeg4 or mpeg2 streams...)
