Are there any good mp3 players without all the bloatware? I just want drag and drop capabilties with an mp3 player. I'm looking for flash memory type of player.

foobar2000 is "The swiss army knife of audio". Fast. No bloat. If you want even smaller and simpler I would suggest
1by1.
XMPlay and
Coolplayer are two other small & fast no-nonsense players....

I believe he's looking for a hardware player.

Sorry. My bad.

Hehe.
I'm looking at the rca rd1071, I believe it has drag and drop, but I want to be sure.

I purchased a Kaser 100 at Circuit City last summer. After a mail-in rebate it was only $20. I believe it normally goes for about $50. It has 64MB, and it's bare bones, no frills. It is drag-and-drop. I installed no software. Just plugged it in. It has no DRM (diminish rights of majority). Meets my needs. Maybe yours too.

http://www.daisymm.com/l/en/mpz/divagem_det.html ...this one does AAC and MP3 and is available from
http://www.advancedmp3players.co.ukAlthough I've not used it that one looks great. I have an MPIO FL100 which isn't too bad either.
I'd rather have one that played AAC or Ogg though!

I'm not very up-to-date; sometime ago when I looked for a flash player myself, the NexII was just out. It is nice because it can carry a microdrive, and normal AA-size batteries (which are affordable even in the Li-ion version).
Probably they've moved on by now. But do have a look at it.
edit - I just remember, the brand is FrontierLabs.

the iRiver product line when using the UMS (mass storage) firmware offers drop and drag. Players also support ogg. There are three series 100, 300 and 500 that are flash based. Others are HD based.
IRiver's do not come cheap but the sound of playback is worth the extra.

Creative's Nomad MuVo is a small and simple drag & drop flash player, 64mb, 128mb & 256mb. The 64mb is fairly cheap nowadays.

For the ultimate in simplicity, check out USB thumb drive/mp3 player combos. Basically, they are just as they sound....a solid-state, USB thumb drive (32MB-256MB) that plugs right into a port, pops up as a removable drive, and supports simple drag-and-drop file transfer. Unplug it, plug in some headphones, and you're good to go. While I can't personally vouch for the quality of such devices, they may fit the bill for simplicity and cost. Do a search on eBay for "mp3 drive" and you'll find scores of such devices, often for a mere pittance.
Another low-cost, easy-to-use player is the Diva, which takes cheap and plentiful CF memory (if I recall correctly). Again, it will show up as a removable drive on your PC, eliminating the need for bloated transfer software.
