Hello. I'm in need of advice on a problem with some internet radio streams, please. It's a general problem, in that it's not specific to any one player; it happens with both my regular players (QCD and XMPlay). I'm happily listening to a stream, when I notice that my CPU usage has shot up to 100% and is stuck there. Sometimes closing all running programs frees up the CPU; other times only rebooting does the trick. It's a specific problem too, in that it only happens with certain streams; most play all day without a hitch. There's nothing wrong with my system that I know of. Can anyone shed any light on this, please? Why does it happen? Can it be prevented? Many thanks to any super-knowledgeable person who feels able to offer some helpful advice!
