A mpc plugin which puts mppdec.exe on priority high(or realtime) instead of low. Or do you know of a method to automaticly put mppdec.exe on high(and nero.exe on low). I would appreciate feedback.

This seems totally silly, you want Nero to keep up with your writer. It should have high prio to be able to do so during load caused by other programs. It will wait for mpcdec if it has to smile.gif
If the input plugin with mpcdec can't feed the burning module fast enough on your system, try a lower burning speed (8x, 4x)

It's just that some mpc won't burn(burner stops at least 100 times) properly and they will if i put nero.exe on low and mppdec.exe on high(for every song). While burning cpu usage is normal(a few %) and memory is still available. The computer in general isn't slow, it just won't burn properly without adjusting priorities. The odd thing is, one cd did on lets say monday and the next day it didn't. Then i started searching and found out about the priority problem some people had. Thats why i'm asking.

Seems somehow my last post got lost(an hour+ seems a bit long for a check).

My last post got down to:

Somehow lately some mpc refuse to burn properly without nero at low and mppenc at high. Even though memory is still available and cpu is only at few %

One cd refused to burn overnight and since i read about priority problems with the plugin i thought i'd ask if a plugin with altered priorities existed.

If I am not mistaken, the cause of the problems with NERO burning mpc comes from the fact that the mpc plugin is more of a patchwork solution, rather than an actual plugin that conforms to the SDK. High/Low priorites just acted as a quick fix for some. For me, the fix worked about 1/10 times, which is terrible at best. I would HIGHLY suggest you try Burrrn. You can get it here. True drag and drop interface and it reads APE tags perfectly.

Recently(after a few weeks), it's working again as it did. I just don't know what was wrong. Hopefully it will continue to work. I'll have a look at burn.
