nice. (eh?)

Yes. Things are starting to shape up pretty well here in Canada.

The ruling specifically stipulates that having a file in the shared directory of a program like Kazaa or Winmx is NOT distribution, and therefore not a violation of copyright law.

This in conjunction with the Harvard study showing no impact on cd sales should set these jerks back a bit. At least in Canada anyway.

They make me sick, guys. They claim millions in lost revenue due to file sharing, then claim the same losses against bootleggers selling copied cd's.

They claim the poor artists are losing money when in fact new artists are forced to sign contracts that amount to indentured servitude.

Assholes.......

You guys are believing too much in news released today. Sigh...

Nope, it's all true.

Actually, the news was released yesterday.

(I reject the whole idea of April Fool's Day anyway tongue.gif )

Well, I'm not saying it's false. I'm just saying I won't believe anything announced today smile.gif

Fair enough... there's a lot of fake news floating about at the moment.
