Can anyone explain me what are the diffrences between the new stereo modes, expecially i'am interested in M/S Enchanced.

I'd be interested too what do these 1.5/3 dB, 2/6 dB modes mean in practise.

Actually I'd like the full explanation how mid/side coding thresholds work and how does mid/side -coding affect to stereo image.

I want to remember to everybody, that testing of stereo image is better be done via speakers with some metres distance in between.

With earphones you will be able to listen better to other artefacts, but not stereo image.
