Title pretty much says it. I ripped into FLAC and it all went well and then I made a profile for ripping to mp3 but I don't know how to select the FLAC files. The only options are for using .wav's. Should I just use DBpowerAMP?

Yup. The Compress WAVs function in EAC can only encode .wav files to other formats, not transcode between formats, much as you would expect from its name.

You can use DBpowerAMP, foobar2000, Speek's Multi Frontend and a number of other tools to encode flac files to mp3 with LAME. Whichever one you prefer.

Ok, thanks. that clears up alot. I see people posting things like "EAC>FLAC>mp3" and Iit made it seem like they were just using EAC so I thought I was retarded.
