Yepp, press is always nice. However, they are quoting dubios sources IMO:
QUOTE
"Our first experiences with Ogg Vorbis do not lead us to believe that it will be a major player," says Bernhard Taubenberg, a spokesman for the electronics chain Saturn.
"Geiz ist Geil" Saturn. Oh my. Horrible. (although his observation is quite realistic - Ogg Vorbis is not really successful in the portable-player market)
QUOTE
"Ogg Vorbis is gaining speed on the Internet, though," says Thomas Vehmeier from Cologne, who offers links on the topic on his Web site Vorbissimo.de.
Latest News at Vorbissimo.de is from 2000.
Gaining speed is not really true IMO. I donīt expect Vorbis to take over the world

. Nonetheless Vorbis is a Good-Thing for many users:
Vorbis is good for OSS users - for obvious reasons itīs the only codec that comes with any linux installation.
Itīs great for small streaming stations - icecast is a wonderful streaming server and peercast has enormous potential.
Vorbis is very useful for application-embedded multimedia (e.g. games!).
Vorbis is not restricted to these markets of course. However, mainstream users will most likely use AAC and WMA. Peaceful coexistance.

QUOTE
Unlike the MP3 and WMA codecs, Ogg Vorbis requires a certain type of memory in order to unpack the highly compressed audio information.
Wrong. It needs *more* memory, not a special type or so.
