I'm using the latest, greatest Foobar just d/l yesterday. I added two directories to the playlist, which were root directories of two drives, and proceeded to play. I then shutdown WinXP (Home, SP1). Upon rebooting the PC Foobar comes up but always plays the first song in the playlist instead of where it left off. Any ideas?
Have you enabled "Resume playback after restart" in Preferences|Core|Startup? If yes, then how are you closing foobar? Do you close it first and then shut down Windows, or do you leave it playing and let Windows close it for you?

Yes, resume on startup is checked. I've tried both closing Foobar first, then Windows, and also just shutting down Windows and it still does the same thing. I'm going to reinstall Foobar this weekend when I have the time and see what happens.

After all this time none of my systems can keep their current playing position(s), playlist and in-song wise IF I do not shutdown Foobar first, then shutdown Windows. How/when does Foobar save its current playlist position and position in currently playing song? TIA
